At Strata, personnel, resources and flexibility have enabled us to successfully complete some of the most difficult drilling projects under severe or challenging conditions. Whether it is something as simple as shallow flight auger borings or something more complicated, like deep borings requiring a variety of down-hole in-situ testing procedures from a 120-foot cliff, our goal is the same - to provide the best possible results to our clients.

Our resources contain a veritable working library of drilling and sampling equipment. From truck mounted B-61’s and CME 75’s to ATV and low clearance rigs that can operate on propane power depending on our client’s requirements. Our trucks, Hi-Rail, ATV’s, barges, platforms and 4-wheelers allow us access to demanding locations.
Our flexibility in obtaining quality soil and rock samples is accomplished with a diverse selection of tooling. Specialty sampling includes Pitcher barrels, fixed piston samplers and Lukas adapters. Split spoon and Shelby tube samples from two inch to five inch can be extracted. Rock coring both conventional and wireline sizes including NX, NQ, PQ and 4” are available.
